you can do much worse

lively local, made better by a recent refit, i watched the recent cardiif vs wolves game in there, i enjoyed a bite to eat, nothing to soil yourself over but hot and a huge portion at a reasonable price, the service was very good, though crowded i never waited more than 2, 3 minutes to be served.
i reckon you should try it before the sheen of newness is gone.
ps its a big place too, with places to hide away in for peace and quiet

fine night out

i'd argue this offers the best curry in the town center, lovely place, great service, excellent food....often the red fort has entertainment on too.
it's a pricey affair if you push the boat out, though you won't regret it.
the whole vibe of the fort smacks of quality...enjoy.

known locally as "the wang it at em", cos of the late night weekend customers who have been known to party on regardless of where they are.
the place is clean, with good food, reasonable prices, and excellent service.
time a visit for early evening and you'll enjoy it.

review on behalf of my mommy ! who visited with her friends and had a pleasant lunchtime experience, she quaffed about, attentive service, large portions, and moreish food.
she will always mention how the toilets are kept in any restaurant, she didn't launch into a tirade regards these so i conclude they're fine

tie me kangaroo down sport !

big sports bar aussie style, big screen sport dominates the layout and its patrons.
poor beer though, lager is cold, wet and flatter than sporty spice, if you must spend time there buy a boomerang card for discounts.
BBQ area at rear.
possibly due a refit to bring it up to date.
food is burger based, with skippie burgers on the menu for those wanting to act out a mick dundee fantasy

..the moon is of course a wetherspoons place so nothing will surprise you, cheap beer, generous portions of food , and as a consequence of those, the place is almost universally popular, its clean, tidy and friendly. no music or entertainment mean you'll have to entertain yourselves, no hardship at the knockdown prices !

nothing special

a popular gaff with students and wolves fans on match days,
food is tolerable and fairly priced, its the draught beer that shocks with its appaling quality, i've tryed lager, bitter and guinness all foul, i suggest you pay £2.00 for a v card and hit the bottle offers...live music upstairs can compensate for such poor libation....also the service needs a big kick in the pants

glasnost ?

revolution is a better place over the weekend, though you will pay an entrance fee if you visit late on....good atmosphere..friendly crowd usually on a tour of the late spots so people are in and out all night, can be pricey if you hammer the vodka , cocktails or the large jugs, get in early and claim a big comfy sofa.
food is fair value but offers nothing new.

a unpretentious curryhouse, with fine food at reasonable prices and excellent attentive service.
suits all, couples, families and large parties.
affordable to the point that you may return more often than you thought

good not great

i might be wrong but part of the ramshackle charm of a curryhouse in the black country was the cheap and cheerful nature of the whole experience...it's lost a little in the upmarket bilash.
fine service and trendy ikea lite decor can't hide an ordinary menu steeped in high prices and an experience you always thought was gonna knock your socks off, in truth it just tickles your shoelaces.
the whole concept is to ape the upmarket curry market served better in brum and nottingham.
