i used this place when talktalk knackered my internet connection for 3 days and i needed to complete some ebay sales online, the fellow inside was helpful and the "shop" offers a lot more than cheap internet access, p o boxes, parcel delivery, packaging, printing and money transfer services.

famous for its proximity to its parent brewery, banks's, (50 yards away) the clarendon serves up fine beer in pleasant traditional surroundings, beloved on match days by wolves fans, the place does a brisk trade throughout the week.

a four seasons franchise at fallings park, so its pizza, kebabs, burgers and wraps delivered 7 days a week.
you can collect your food but there is a long wait cos its a busy little affair.
the prices are keen and the fodder decent, service is good too

set up as a cut price kfc rival, this place offers nothing spectacular or different, fried chicken dominates the menu,
once you've accepted that you'll find the premises are clean , the staff attentive ( something every kfc in the country could learn from ) and the prices keen

for years this was the best takeaway in the town, but for about the last 6/7 yrs, the high standards have slipped a little resulting in a chinese that struggles to peep its head above the crowd...the premises are clean and the food generally fine ( it used to be terrific )....they don't deliver which nowadays is a minus, this can also mean a long wait for your order at busy times cos the place is packed to capacity

its name sums it up, sarnies, rolls, drinks etc...all made to order, hot sandwiches too.
fine food, good value, great service...once you've found
it you won't forget it

friendly sandwich shop, not really a cafe ( 4 seats does not make a cafe )
opens around 5.30 am till 2, mon to sat...opens a little later and closes a little earlier on a sunday.
keen prices, good food, the place is a local goldmine...it's popular with workers (fast service) and local residents too

unfriendly local on the underhill estate ( the scotlands to anyone else )...tepid beer, dated decor...remember the scene in american werewolf in london..."remember the alamo" ?

staffed by students and various goth types, patronised by the same crowd too.
the london aims for this market and generally hits the mark...the draught beer is poor and the service wildly variable...the place scores because its part of wolves triple crown,...the hogs head, the london and the varsity all face each other at the top of broad street...all these pubs have lively crowds over the weekend.
ps ..a couple of tips, try and get a student fob card for big discounts and the mens toilets are at the top of a 3 flight concrete staircase...ouch if you fall down ( you would not be the first poor soul to tumble down them )

lapdancing gaff above the cuban bar...crappy beer, crappy doormen, crappy ambience.
i could forgive these shortcomings if the dancers were worthwhile, they ain't...they all need dance lessons and a good wash.
