TrustMark is the only UK Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out, in, and around the home. They are a not-for-profit, social enterprise, operating under a Master Licence Agreement, issued by the Government’s Department for Business & Trade. 

TrustMark licences and audits over 35 scheme providers with around 15,000 Registered Businesses.  

These encompass over 150 different service types and include everything you might expect: plumbers, electricians, and builders, to a few you might not: carpet cleaners, landscape gardeners and leadwork specialists.  

TrustMark registered businesses are required to adhere to high standards of technical competence, customer service and trading practices. This gives customers peace of mind when looking to have work done in and around their homes.

Driving Instructors Association logo

The Driving Instructors Association (DIA) is the UK’s largest professional membership body for driver and rider trainers. They offer support, advice, professional development, and training to members, including approved driving instructors (ADIs) and rider trainers across all vehicle categories.

As respected experts in driver education, they provide up-to-date advice, and work with road safety professionals worldwide to improve driving standards. DIA also actively participates in industry groups, including the Department for Transport’s Road Safety Delivery Group.

Their services include advanced driver training, in-car, classroom, and online courses for individuals and fleets.

Association of Fencing Industries Logo

The Association of Fencing Industries 

The Association of Fencing Industries (AFI) is the only organisation that represents the interests of all in fencing within the UK.  

They represent members across the UK fencing industry, promoting safety, quality, and professionalism.  Members are kept up to date with industry news, technical information, and business opportunities available within the association network.   

By bringing fencing contractors, manufacturers, stockists, and installers together, the AFI gives strength to the industry and encourages them to work together to resolve issues.   

The AFI has stringent entry criteria and members must meet and adhere to their professional Code of Practice.   

AFI members are typically companies at the top of their game, not only meeting their statutory obligations but going much further in providing the highest quality goods and services.   

The AFI is a professional trade association serving the needs of our UK fencing industry, formed from the merging of the EFIA and FCA in 2017.

Confederation of Roofing Contractors Logo

The Confederation of Roofing Contractors   

The Confederation of Roofing Contractors (CORC) was established in 1985 and is now one of the most respected and widely known roofing trade associations within the industry and by the general public.  

Their members span across the UK and are among the best roofing contractors in the business. If you require a roof repair or even a completely new roof, their recommended roofers are there for you. All registered roofers are highly vetted and insured.

OFTEC Logo

OFTEC 

Established in 1991, OFTEC is a leading 'not-for-profit' trade organisation for the liquid fuel heating and cooking industries in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.  

They aim to promote the highest professional and technical standards for technicians and businesses working in the industry while supporting the needs of heating users.

They achieve this by working with manufacturers of heating equipment, training providers, UKAS, LABC and other industry stakeholders.  

 Around 9,500 technicians are registered on their UKAS accredited competent person scheme. They hold registration for a range of traditional and renewable heating technologies, including liquid fuels, solid fuels, heat pumps, solar thermal, and biomass. 

OFTEC registration is underpinned by a government-approved framework of training, assessment, and technical support, allowing registered technicians to provide high standards of service to their customers.
