I understand that due to illness there was pressure on trying to reply to contacts, but having used this company for some years, the work is excellent, and recent contact has been excellent.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Not worth a star rating but have to put something down for the review otherwise would be “O” as they promised the best service and did not deliver.
Had a conservatory fitted by them (nearly three years now) and have had nothing but leeks and when you try to get hold of them no reply. Leave message on answer machine no reply. Go to office and speak to them still nothing gets done except they call and say it’s the fault of the company who fitted the blinds.
The company that fitted the blinds comes straight out to the house can’t find what they have supposed to have done wrong so ask for Down windows to contact them and come to house same time so this can be sorted, Down Windows still have not done so and in the mean time I still have a leaking conservatory.

Excellent job and great quality windows

I know how difficult it can be to find the best window/door installers so I thought I would leave an honest review of this company. Down Windows had very reasonable prices, they use REHAU windows and Palladio doors which are the best you can get . The windows are absolutely stunning both inside and out and the finish is superb. The sales team are not overbearing and were very genuine, even the office staff are lovely to deal with. The fitters (Jason and Paul) were very experienced and extremely clean, they were also very very quick. Inside one day I have had 10 people remark on how good my new windows/door are. I would absolutely 100% recommend this company for the experienced fitters and quality rehau windows. I am 100% happy customer.

Very bad customer service

After chasing for a quote for a month, I was finally given a day for repairs to be done. My husband booked the day off work. They were to be out at 11am. No sign at 12.30 so I contacted the office to be told I wasn't in the diary for work to be done that day!! If you don't want the business just say!!! I have now got someone reliable to carry out the work
