I contacted them to value my car. I was offered a price so I asked how I can get a firm offer. They said it was a firm price and that all I needed to do was accept it. They then didn't return calls or emails for five days, before finally saying that they wouldn't honor the original offer, despite me having accepted it already. Asked to speak to someone in charge but continually offered call backs but have had none so far. I would hate to know what other tactics this company employs to try and rip people off, but please stay clear if you don't want to be mucked around.

It's funny when the only five star review for a company is from the company itself!

I hired a van from Thurrock, like others, due to their seemingly good prices. I was told upon collecting the van that there was a "fair and lenient" policy towards any damaged caused.

I had a relatively minor scrape when getting into our drive, and thought about getting it seen to myself but was assured by a body shop I popped into that it wouldn't cost very much and I shouldn't worry about it.

I have sinced been charged over £900 for damages! These were taken from me without notice and on a card which the company had said wasnt working when I tried to book the van initially. Turns out they had the whole door replaced due to the damage which was little more than a scratch. I'm absolutely furious and will be taking them to court.

Please do yourself a favour and pay a little more up front and use another company! As others have mentioned, they will try and scam you as much as they possible can and for a "friendly family business" they are extremely rude.
