Just what you would imagine

Typical budget carvery stuff, quality of veg very much depends on the day and time with rock hard yorkshire puds. However its all edible once smuthered in gravey and seeing as you couldn't cook it at home for that price whos complaining?
Table service has always been very good, you might get sneered at by the bloke at the hot plate but I'll forgive him as this probably wasn't how the dream of working in a michelin stared restaurant he had when he started catering college ended.
Beware you will be surrounded by lots of people who can't use cutlery!

Dining for a different generation

A fantastic little find, all you need to be shot back in time is a meal here, into the Dome for a film and then your date can walk you home and hope for a peck on the cheek at the door. Yummy retro but not for those in a hurry.

Better than average for a chain

We eat here every now and then but always on a weekday lunch/eve. True the service could be a bit quicker/more cheerful but generally the food isn't bad considering the sort of place it is and the price. I wouldn't go there for a special occasion but it makes a nice change from cooking myself. Clean and well maintained but do we really want to see xmas decs out advertising advanced bookings in August? A simple blackboard with a notice would have been much more apt.
