Visited Hanburys on Sat 24th Feb 2018 at 12.00, it was practically empty and we were asked if we had booked (for goodness sake its a fish and chip cafe not a 5* restaurant). The person we felt was not very polite as we were only offered a choice of 2 two seater tables both of which were not in a very pleasant position and very small (plenty of 4 seat tables available). When the meal arrived it looked good but when we cut into the fish it was mainly batter and not a lot of fish. The bill for 2 small fish/chips (specials) and 1 undrinkable coffee was nearly £27. I had been looking forward to this for a long time as we visited a few years back and it was good(not local). Won't be going back. Over priced and over rated
