New owners of great little cafe that had previously been opened intermittently. Friendly staff still finding their way. Usual selection of sandwiches etc with some more interesting food. Shows promise. Give it a try on the way to see the squirrels.

This traditional pub still retains its original room layout of snugs and bars. Good cask beers. Attracts regulars plus those wandering past for a quick drink on the way into Ormskirk centre.

Friendly staff. Discounted glasses made to order on site - so if you have just broken yours or need some new ones they do themwhile you wait - Just need your prescription. Range goes from cheap everyday to designer specs. at about half price of normal opticians.

Now Closed - didn't take any of my advice. Most recent addition to the Ormskirk cafe society. Simple but quality sandwiches and the rest. Nice Coffee all at reasonable prices.
Modern classy light decor and wood tables.
Unfortunately the 2 level layout means that customers are hidden from view so are not always seen immediately - why not put a traditional bell on the door? Pleasant staff - but could do with a warmer initial welcome.

Friendly mechanic's who know their stuff. No flash reception and doesn't look much inside, but don't be put off. Competitively priced MOT's - with no bumping up the cost "advising" extra work.
They seem able to sort out most problem's without you paying main dealer over-heads. Give them a go.

This restaurant has been going for years and serves up a wide range of Quality food from the Chinese region. The usual banquets are there and a step up in quality from others. The welcome is always friendly.

Usefully situated on Maghull / Lydiate border this small premises has a big list of takeaway sandwiches / filled rolls and drinks. Also a small seating area inside for rainy days and outside when the sun shines.
