Franco's is an emporium of manliness
5
Franco's is an institution!
I've been travelling across Bristol to visit this emporium of all things mainly for 15 years, every since my first visit whilst then work in the area.
With Franco's you don't just get a great hair cut, sound advice on both style and product and a keen price, NO! You get so much more - you get what every man wants: Banter and a haven of manliness!
The topics of conversation are always top draw, inclusive, funny but never crude, with sound collective advise dished out from the assembled cutting staff and current patrons. I've personally benefitted from the cathartic exercise of venting frustrations and challenges on a wide range of topics with advice being as varied and diverse as 'grow a pair' 'take the canaille leave the gun' 'the answer is always 6 or sex...' and 'buy now, the markets only going one way!'
Beyond all this Franco's champions the local community it serves and the local business community it is corner stone of.... from hosting a street music festival, to organising golf days and man cooking (Meat) cookery school lessons - Franco recognises those that make his business a success and helps him thrive, being sure to say thank you and give a little back.
Even for those visiting for the first time, there is a great little loyalty card scheme to 1. Keep you coming back but 2. Give you a free cut to thank you for your loyalty.
In summary: I cannot recommend the place enough... if you stay long enough you don't just get a barber, but a sage uncle, a if you’re lucky a friend.
Long live Franco's
