We took our cat and kittens to Companion Care Vets Enfield to be checked, fleaed and wormed a week ago.
We're still finding live fleas a week later even though the flea treatment should be effective in 1 day.
When I asked why there were still fleas after 72 hours, they didn't apologise, offer a refund or discount of any sort, much to my surprise. But only said we should book another full price appointment for a few weeks' time and ask for a different brand of flea treatment.
Obviously we're not going to pay even more money for flea treatment, so called, when we can do just as good a job ourselves, or even better, maybe.
We will also absolutely not take up their offer for more worming appointments as how can we know they will use anything better than we can find much much cheaper online?
Overall we think it was just about worth the consultations because there were some other issues too, but we certainly won't waste any more money re flea and worming treatment there in the future.
