Negative Experience
1
We purchased a new head stone, Robertson removed the existing Head Stone within a couple of weeks of us placing the order. However 3 months later the new head stone is still not there. After contacting Robertson. I found the staff unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with. With no answer on when the new headstone will be installed.
This is upsetting as our relatives are sitting with an unmarked grave. There seems to be little understanding regarding this issue from Robertson.
I would go else where in future as the unhelpful attitude of staff is very disappointing.

Pedicure
1
I booked the luxury spa pedicure with parafin wax treatment cost £40 for 75 mins.
They do not have a pedicure chair so i was lying on a treatment bed with my feet in a spa bath you would have at home.
They removed my old nail varnish, filed my nail slightly and paced them in the spa bath, then foot scrub was rubbed on my feet, then back ib the spa bath, then moisturiser was rubbed on my feet and legs ( as no parafin wax) and but in warm booties for about 3 mins. Then when the beaty therapist went to paint my toenails i asked if she could remove some of the dead skin i have (I suffer from psoriasis so i normally have pedicures to help remove the build up of skin) she rubbed my foot with a foot file for approx 2 mins.
So just to recapp...my spa pedicure with parafin treatment..
My nails were not cut, my cuticles were not pushed back, the dead skin on my feet was not removed, my toe nails were not polished and there was no parfin wax for the parafin wax treatment.
I advised i was going to leave and go for a pedicure so was not happy to pay £40 for what can only be desribed as a foot rub with foot scrub then moisturiser. They reduced to £30.
I then left and went to Total Nails in Haymarket - yes on the same day the pedicure was that bad!
For £25 in Total Nails i had a pedicure
Firstly the push all the cuticle back and buff the nail, then they remove any build up of skin all the while you are sitting in a pedicure spa chair. Then they rubb all your feet with an exfoliating scrub and loafa. Then they wrap hot towels round your legs followed by a hot stone massage. Then your toe nails are painted.

Watch out

Purchased treatments using groupon. Called ledermex several times and left voicemails asking for an appointment. As a last resort sent an email which came back undeliverable. Eventually got to speak to someone early on a Sunday morning who advised my vouchers had expired and there would be no refund. I explained I had called and emailed prevuiously.
After sending them copies of the emails that were ignored and opening a dispute with PayPal and groupon le dermex contacted me an advised they would honor the voucher. I went for my test patch and to show goodwill on my part I then booked a spa pedicure to have after my first treatment. Big mistake! I have reviewed the pedicure separately but it was terrible. As such even though I should have 5 more treatments from my groupon vouchers I will not be back. If you are thinking of booking a treatment I would go to any salon Edinburgh but I would never go back here
