I got 2 new front tyres fitted about 6mths ago, I asked them to do the wheel alignment. They fitted the tyres & then put my van on a ramp & proceeded to knock the weights of the wheels with a hammer? I thought this was strange at the time but not being a mechanic, I got the van back & paid.
Since then the steering wheel shakes when driving on motorways.
Just had a puncture on one of the front tyres & took it to Kwik fit, they have just told me there are no weights on the front wheels & this is the cause of the steering wheel shake. Many thanks Kwik fit, I won't be using Tyre men again
