My complaint is about his assessment of flat felt roofing on the property I recently purchased. In May this year I had a Level 3 Buildings Survey done on a dormer bungalow we were purchasing. We chose Crossbow Developments due to the reviews and the advertised use of a drone when surveying a property. We were particularly interested in the condition of the flat roofs. The report came back as a green rating. No drone was used but the positive rating and the description made us feel at ease.
Fast forward to a week after moving in and the aerial installer told us the felt roof was sagging and advised us to get someone out to have a look. 3 different roofers all told us the same thing - the roof needed to be replaced (the 1st roofer couldn't even do the job as he was fully booked so it's not like he was lying). The roofers pointed out visible signs of something not being right from ground level, yet with binoculars Andrew noted nothing.
The repair is set to cost over £2000.
