Avoid Alan Milne in Elgin at all costs. My 82‑year‑old father’s Motability Citroën C4 was recovered there after a major engine failure — and the experience has been unbelievable.

The service manager refused to take the vehicle, claiming it had been “tinkered with by too many dealers,” despite Motability dealers being contractually required to accept Motability work. He didn’t tell Motability. He didn’t tell the recovery company. He didn’t tell my father. He simply refused it and left the car unaccounted for.

Two weeks later, Motability chased them for an update and only then discovered the truth. Until that point, nobody knew where the vehicle even was.

This is unprofessional, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable, especially for a vulnerable customer relying on Motability.

Imagine how it would be if this was you, now imagine not having the security of Motability and being left without no vehicle, and police involvement to find it…
