I have just trudged over to the post office on the grounds that the website states that it closes at 5.30 pm to find it actually shuts at 2.00 pm I had to run the gauntlet of ladies either side of the rec as I crossed who tried to extract money from me both times as they were having The Pumpkin Fair in which I have no interest.
