Staff committing discrimination
1
Warning to anyone taking CIPS exams: if you cannot wear a mask you will be barred from taking the exam. It does not matter if you are exempt or if it's no longer the law, they will just prevent you from taking the exam.
This organisation discriminates against anyone who cannot wear masks (even if they are exempt under the Equalities Act for medical, religious or belief reasons etc.).
The lady working there is extremely hostile towards everyone and treats them like they are a biohazard. Also, she does not believe that she needs to follow UK law and had admitted to making up laws that apply only to her business (she said "well, it's law here"- this is not true).
The staff refused to allowed me to sit my CIPS exam and are now threatening to report me to CIPS for not wearing a mask, even though the government has clearly stated that educational establishments cannot ban students who cannot wear masks.

Staff are so incompetent that I'm surprised they haven't been sued and fired

Went in to Supercuts today. Wow, just wow.
I asked at first for a dry cut only to be told that they don't offer it to customers unless they have washed their hair right before coming to the salon. I found this a bit strange as I've been to plenty of other salons who do not have this rule, and they say that dry cutting my hair is a lot easier, but ok if they want to make life harder for themselves...
So, I then asked if they could damp down the ends of hair/ do a wet cut and was a told that they didn't offer this at their store either as they have no hair washing facilities. I'm not sure what type of hairdresser doesn't have running water.
Also, might have been a good idea to tell the customer getting her hair BLEACHED that you have no way of washing the bleach out because leaving bleach on someone's hair for too long usually makes it FALL OUT!!!
And, well, judging by the number of customers in the store, you're not making enough money to cover a lawsuit.
