We had a roof that hadn't been passed by Building Control due to shoddy workmanship. Lander & Linsey were recommended to us as a trustworthy, decent company. From the first meeting with Graham Linsey, when he came to assess what needed to be done, we were impressed and felt we were in good hands. Work started on the promised date and we were equally impressed with the team who came to set up scaffolding, etc. Bob Lander was very diplomatic and understanding with our neighbour, who has also been through hell with all the problems resulting from our previous builder. Tin did a fantastic job stripping back the tiles, battens, insulation and building it all to the required standard. The difference in quality is amazing and the work was finished in a timely manner. We were kept informed of progress throughout from Graham Linsey. We cannot rate Lander & Linsey Roofing highly enough. It's nice to know that there are decent companies out there that take pride in the work they do!!!

Having employed Steve Jackson for some relatively minor works we were very impressed. However, when he said he could undertake more major works (although having said that the work was still relatively small), things went VERY wrong. Steve Jackson is great for minor maintenance works, small jobs and he is likely to respond to you quickly. But he is not the man for any kind of building works. Please find a proper, qualified builder if you need work of that kind to be completed to a decent standard.
