Terrible service

Paid CGM £60 for 2 replacement lawnmower wheels. They ordered poor quality wheels of different colour and style to those I had asked for. Far from apologizing, the manager said I should be happy as long as they fitted! After he had been really rude, I eventually got a refund and was able to order genuine, good quality parts (which he claimed were unobtainable!) online for the same price.

I am sorry that you are not happy with your recent experience with our company and the way that your enquiry was handled. I believe that there may be some confusion over this matter and that it is necessary for me to clarify a few points. I must reiterate that unfortunately, although the new parts supplied were genuine replacements, they looked different because they were an updated version of the originals; with the original design bearings being excluded due to previous issues - this sometimes happens in an attempt to prevent future problems. As I have worked for this company for more than forty years I would like to confirm that at our spares counter and within our workshops, we have always supplied genuine original equipment replacement parts if they are available. I am also proud of the fact that I have always treated all our customers politely and with the respect that they deserve. The manager (CGM).
