Argos does not observe your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, preferring instead to hide behind their own returns/exchange policy.

I have tried on numerous occasions to secure my statutory rights for a brand new Toshiba TV that doesn't switch on and is therefore not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality. I have been stonewalled and told that the appliance must be repaired THREE times before they will consider any further action. At this rate I doubt I'll be watching TV this side of Christmas!
