...pre booked lunch... Took three and a half hours from entering to leaving, even after pre booking. Shocking.

Review concerns Ashby de la Zouch Tesco instore branch ;

Very sloppy and poor service.

Booked for eye test and contact lens refit appointment. In summary ;

1. Rang back to say they'd make a computer error and my appointment was a day later.
2. Initial eye tests were done whilst I was wearing contact lenses - which renders the tests obsolete.
3. Eye test was basic but good, with an optician who knew what she was doing ( hence the only positive star )
4. Contact lens check was appalling. Purposely given the wrong prescription to check the fit initially.
5. Trial lenses were the wrong power and not labelled.
6. Given a trial set of lenses that worse of poorer quality to my existing ones and were quite painful after extended wear. Own brand versus more expensive branded ones sketch.
7. Vision Express never tried to make further bookings and it's the customer doing all the chasing from working out when lenses are instore, advice, appointments...

Never went back. Poor.

One of the worst companies I've had to deal with for a long time...

Hire of equipment was rushed - kit dropped off with pre filled "customer refused instruction and safety demonstration" already circled. Result being I was left with kit with no instruction, ended up on the phone to head office asking for instruction.

Collection of the kit was missed. Sat in for 5 hours. Hire Station then couldn't find the time to collect the kit, I think I had 5 phone calls and 10 emails just to get some one to collect when i threatened to leave everything outside.

Expensive compared to alternatives, but that's my fault as I needed hire in a hurry.

Really poor, made worse by rude and unresponsive customer service.

My recommendation: AVOID.
