I purchased the additional 3 year warranty for my car and subsequently, had to avail of same however, was disappointed that my car was with jack reids for a period in excess of 30 days. This was inspite of numerous phone calls etc. making JRS aware we had a newborn and urgently needed the work turned around. At the time, I feared that work which jack reids were able to charge for was being prioritised. Some time later, I had to leave the car in again and was reminded on a number of occasions that their service team were up against a 7-10 day backlog however, that they would diagnose the issue and report back. It transpired the fault would not be covered under the warranty however, they were able to move jobs around and could fit the 3 hour job in the following day for circa £350. This did not sit well with me as had the work been covered under warranty, I would have endured at least a 7 day wait however, they were willing to pull out all the stops for a job they could charge for.
