Fantastic garage they sorted my starter motor, had a bad experience with another local garage who fobbed us off.
However Port Tyres are honest, sorted us with very short notice which we massively appreciate. Guy on Reception very helpful. Very impressed will use again based on consistent great level of service with all our vehicles

Disappointed with the car clinic ledsham, took out car into them and we are unsure if our vehicle had even been looked at if im honest, however we were told 'it was not starter motor issue..car needs to go to an auto electrician'
I had previously had the starter motor repair done 17 months ago at car clinic.
Took car to another local garage following day to be told it is the starter motor, they fixed the car.
If you haven't time to look at car just be honest. Nobody even offered to help push my vehicle off site carpark. As I had to bump start car off site, was very disappointed on this visit and we are returning customers too. Very upsetting

I’m disappointed to hear your visit to car clinic wasn’t up to your expectations. We did check your car free of charge of course And we found the was no power going to the starter motor whether it be a bad connection or broken wire etc at this point we advised it would be best to get it checked out by auto electrician just to be sure it wasn’t an electrical fault on the car before just fitting expensive parts In hope it will fix it . I believe your disappointment was more the fact that Your 2 year old starter motor warranty had ran out a year previously . Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that we always stand our 12months parts and labour no quibble warranty every time!! We also said if the auto electrician finds fault with the out of warranty starter motor will help with the cost of a new one as a good will gesture. At our expense due to not being able to make a claim due the warranty being out of date . You had 3 men with you to push the car ? Many thanks
