He took the time to listen carefully to what we wanted, walking through the plans and making some really helpful suggestions we hadn't even thought of. He advised us on the best placement for the cooker circuit, where to put the under-cabinet lighting, and the most logical positions for the new sockets and fused spurs so they'd be hidden but still accessible.
Crucially, he explained everything clearly, including the process of chasing the walls (making channels for the new cables) and how he ensures compliance with the Part P regulations. The quote we received was broken down clearly, showing the cost for the work, the new consumer unit (fuse box) upgrade, and the necessary testing/certification.
