We recently boarded our 5-month-old Siberian kitten, Jigs, at Woodland Nook for the first time. I’ll admit I’m that cat mum, she’s my fur baby, and I was very anxious about leaving her. After meeting Jane and seeing her beautiful accommodation, I felt completely reassured.

A few days in, Jane let me know Jigs hadn’t eaten much and thought it was because she was missing us. We explained she’s never really left alone at home, and Jane immediately adjusted, giving her more playtime and attention. This worked wonders, Jigs was soon eating again.

Jane sent us daily updates and photos, which made such a difference. It’s so clear that this isn’t just a job for her, it’s her passion. She truly loves cats and treats them as her own.

I can’t recommend Woodland Nook highly enough. Jane turned what could have been a stressful first cattery stay into a really positive experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
