Health hazard!! Sasso should be ashamed

We have had many meals at Sasso but have noticed that over the last 12 months service, attention to detail and food quality has been slowly dropping.
Dinner was a disaster.
The Scallop appetizers (£11) were four tiny scallops, smaller than my thumbnail.
The main course arrived before we had finished eating the starters!
They told us they were busy and if we didn't take it it could be a while before we got served new mains..
My vhe veal chop was charred on the outside but stone cold and raw on the inside. I suspect it had been cooked from frozen..
Would you eat it? To me it's definitely a health hazard.
Undercooked Cod with soggy skin, burnt lasagne. The salmon dish ok but tiny.
The manager just grinned inanely and told us "they were busy", no apology.
We decided to leave. They wanted us to pay the bill, although after a little discussion they agreed this should be completely waived.
Extremely disappointing, we will not be going back.

I strongly suggest you pass on this one. Food is poor, I had the pate starter which was curling, my wife had to ask for extra cheese on the ploughmans as what they served wouldn't have fed a mouse, the glasses still had lipstick on, for goodness sake!!. Service was agonizingly slow.

On top of that the hotel is threadbare, just walk in and look at the chairs and decor and you'll see. I should have walked out then but we were meeting family for lunch.

And to add insult to injury we were ten minutes over on the parking (having paid for 3 hours), and the hotel sent a fine through their parking company (Parking Eye) for £100. I wrote to the hotel, sent copies of the hotel receipt and parking receipt and they wouldn't help, nor would their parking eye company. Unbelievable!!

I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel and suggest you give this one a pass or you will regret it.

I had the misfortune to have a lorry throw up a stone which starred my windscreen badly. Replacement quotes were a ridiculous price so I looked online, saw Screen-mend and given the good reviews thought I would give them a try.
Graham from Screen-mend was very professional, explained the repair, and then proceeded to do a first class job! I'm very very pleased, and it saved me money.
So a very big thank you to Graham.

We regularly repair top-end vehicles such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley , Ferrari, McLaren, etc whose owners will not entrust anyone else, yet we always apply the same degree of care & attention whatever the nature of the subject vehicle.
