Have spent thousands over the years with them and when all goes well they are fine. However went to buy a new Alston sofa and carpet last year, chose the sofa, matched colours with a carpet, paid deposit. ONE MONTH later got call to say sofa was never available in fabric we chose (only chairs) come back and choose another, carpet was in awaiting fitting, no apologies just the saleswoman complained the original saleswoman should have known, no apologies or reason why it took a month to contact us AFTER their carpet department had called to say carpet is in when ready. Only knocked £10 off delivery of sofa. To add insult, I specifically requested the cushions that came with sofa were not feather due to allergies. That was ignored. I cannot ever recommend again and will not visit again. Recommend Barkers in Northallerton, very professional staff.
