I placed a deposit on a vehicle, under the clear expectation that it would be secured for me.Despite this,the dealership went ahead and sold the car to someone else without informing me.
To make matters worse, when I asked if the car was ready, I was falsely told that it had an issue with the boot and was booked into Kia for repairs. This was clearly a lie, as the car was then sold to another customer. Additionally, I was promised a loan car until another vehicle was sourced, yet when I asked about it, this promise was not upheld.
This situation has left me without a car, which has been incredibly difficult given that I have a young family.
A deposit should mean that the vehicle is reserved, and it is disgraceful that I was misled and ultimately left without the car I had committed to purchasing. I strongly urge potential buyers to exercise caution when dealing with Birchwood Motor Centre, as their business practices do not honour commitments made to their customers.
