My daughter had her iPhone 6 Plus replaced at fonebox five weeks ago,as it was cracked badly. They seemed pleasant enough but only five days later the screen stopped responding to touch. My daughter is at college in Bedfod and so had by then returned home (south coast) for the summer holidays. We took it to a local phone repair shop and they replaced the screen (for less) and with a legitimate screen. It worked fine and still does. They said if it was a legitimate business we had got the screen from then they would be able to give us a year’s guarantee.
The (non legitimate) iPhone 6 Plus screen with fonebox cost £65. It worked for five days. The one purchased from a reputable local to us shop cost £60 and is a legitimate iPhone screen, and works.
The man at fonebox said they only give a 1 month guarantee on their non legitimate screens because they can’t guarantee they work!
