The barley mow is a family pub, all are welcome. Our many happy customers are testoment to this. I have already posted a response to you on google, so I am not going to go into too much detail here. But I will reiterate that we are not new owners we have owned the pub for several years and in this time you are the only people we have felt necessary to ask to leave. Your mothers behaviour was rude and impolite and made a 4 year old girl cry. It was not my behaviour that upset the child it was your mothers. My family were not interfering with anyone's enjoyment they were simply keeping themselves to themselves, the sound that upset you so much was a tablet on 25% volume because we were very aware of not interfering with anyone else. You started name calling and rather than enter into an argument, I asked you to leave. After you left we welcomed several families with the majority of children having some form of small gadget to help entertain them and we received not one complaint. if you are considering visiting the Barley Mow please ignore this malicious and personal attack, look at the other reviews on other websites and please judge for yourself who is telling the truth. We welcome everyone at the barley mow including families with small children.
