County Spares is my local vacuum repair service, which is where I took my sick 'Henry' and met the formidable James who has been in the business for the past 30 years, so there isn't much he doesn't know about vacuum cleaners. He doesn't mince his words and informed me of the problem, cost and how long he would take to complete the work. Now I don't know anything about vacuum cleaners, except how to plug it in and let it do its work. However, I was invited to stay and watch, as James placed Henry on the workbench and began taking him apart. The problem was evident, and the motor had died. My model was the the old NV300 with the metal bin, so not much could go wrong except the motor. He is very professional but very down to earth at the same time and this is the exact combination needed to do the job he does. After about half an hour, he plugged Henry in, and new life once more breathed into his filters. He was good as new..... job done, thanks James. I will defo recommend you.....
