I took my old johnson for a service knowing it had a few issues and the guys told me not to waste my money as it was uneconomical to repair as parts were so expensive and hard to sauce.
I asked on the off chance if they had any outboards for sale and they had 2,i had a look and chose a 6hp Johnson all serviced and working for £100.00 half the price to repair mine and more hp to boot.
these are honest hard working guys and I highly recommend them.
