This place don't even deserve 1 point ...
Took my dog there in July 2015 dog came out got so Ill to to vets our fur baby contracted kennel cough. We informed RSPCA and Waveney council about the place stinking and service and still to this day have heard nothing. Everyone who has a bad experiance must report them to get this place sorted out " it's not fair on our pets

A score of 1 is too high. A score for our Experience with Pets Hotel Pakefield London rd, Lowestoft Suffolk is un rateable for how my puppy bulldog suffered with contracting kennel cough due to their negligence of not doing what their website states in black and white....
They booked our 11 month old bulldog in for 2nites when we arrived at reception on drop off date 18-7-15 went in reception 8:30 am to be greeted by a strong pet /and urine /ammonia smell...looked behind the reception before leaving her with them......under the seating area was filthy of fur/hair dust fluff ect ect.... When we collect our girl 10am 20-7-15 she stunk and her freshly laundered bedding we left with her also was do strong smelling of urine we had to stop and buy some binbags to seal her bedding in.....days later our baby got sick, she could eat drink and was making strange voice noises, when I gave her water as to keep her hydrated it sounded like it went to her lungs......we didn't know what to do so we watched her another 24/48 hours constantly hoping it was just from the sadness she experienced at the kennels..... After visiting OUR vets as she started bring up white thick sticky mucus and coughing real bad we told him about her recent stay at the Pakefield kennels and that they gave her the vaccine for kennel cough on the day our puppy was dropped off as they recommended plus if a dogs booked in for a stay over the kennel cough vaccine is cheaper she had a vaccination with them at their vets on site.....I got OUR vets bill today and I phones Marion at the pets hotel, she passed me over to a very abrupt man who to
D me my dog didn't contract kennel cough from them and how can I prove it, did my vets do swabs ect ect ect. He said that I have neglected my dog by not having her upto date with the vaccine, I told hm we have never left her we have had her from 8 weeks and she has always been with us, never in a kennel, he said I was a irrisponsible owner!!! I told him that on his web page it states that all animals must be upto date with the kennel cough vaccine before staying at their kennels...and that it must be ADMINISTER a minimum of 7days before the animals stay in kennels........but that was never mentioned to us Marion just said bring her along we will vaccinate on arrival ( so we did........ ( he said they took her in as they didn't want to turn us away!! I would of rather been turned away then to put me my hubby and 2 teenage sons through worrying and cleaning Up behind our beloved very sick. pet...... I can't imagine how our puppy felt having to go through her 2nite stay in a smelly place along with the sickness he contracted from there and to have to be pulled about from our vets...... She's 11 months old and I'm hoping she will learn to forget the last month because of that stay at The Pets hotel Pakefield lowestopft Suffolk...................the man had no remorse and said not to contact them again,..................we said see you in a court( ( HIS reply was that :"""his insurance company has VERY deep pockets.".......and he called me an irresponsible owner WTF............ Nasty nasty heartless man........You have been reported to all the right people including the RSPCA. Please take note of this that has happened to us, a 2 nite sleep over ended in our puppy being distressed dehydrated smell worse then I have ever smelt an animal and went through an appalling trauma, just because we put her in pets hotel Pakefield pontins.......if I could rewind the clock I would, but I sure thing that's come out of this is that she will only be coming away with us if we go anywhere again.....we'd NEVER put her in harm ever again............Karen Alan Golder from Norwich Norfolk a genuine EX customer of theirs!!
