Awful experience with a rude owner.

We recently paid them £96 to move a sofa 6 miles across the city, at an agreed time, but the driver arrived 45 minutes late, rang 3 times as couldn’t find the property as he hadn’t used a sat nav, then advised he’d been sent alone. To move a 207cm solid 3 seater sofa. After numerous calls to the office to get someone else out to help him, I was assured the owner, would be attending himself to help the driver, but I’m still utterly amused that he asked the seller and myself to help him lift it. Who pays £96 for delivery and collection of a 3 seater sofa to then be asked to help lift it themselves? Two ladies and a child?! Are they for real?
In short, he advised he would be taking the sofa back to his unit and leaving it there “until he could deliver it”, leaving me completely stranded.
Luckily for him, Kate, who works in his office and is lovely, helped us move the sofa in to another van, but Adam should be ashamed of himself.
Please think twice before using this company.
