just before Christmas we had a new clutch fitted at M.E.T.S to our car, after only 30 miles the clutch failed due to the pedal not working which resulted in a crash as my wife could not get it out of gear in time to avoid a collision. the crash wrote of our car and caused damage to another vehicle and a personal injury claim against us. luckily my wife was not hurt but had the accident happened on the motorway i can only dread what could have happened. The insurance investigation found that the hydraulics of the clutch had failed and there was no fluid in the system, unfortunately for us the could not prove that this was a result of the clutch been worked on or due to the accident. I have tried contacting M.E.T.S on several occasions and they keep telling me they are going to get the owner to call me but apart from one call to say he was going to phone me back in a bit and a few random texts saying they are going to call they have not contacted me or shown any interest.
