I return to write a new review about this amazing place in which my aunt resides. Last year this retirement complex was in the top four of "Businesses" in Essex, to my absolute disbelief The Hawthorns did not "win"! Completely outrageous as the staff, the facilities, the entertainment, the care, the professionalism, the friendship, the whole package was/is outstanding as always. I can only reemphasise my respect and gratitude to all the staff who are associated with The Hawthorns retirement complex at Braintree. Thanks Jenny G.

It is my pleasure to write these comments and assessment about The Hawthorns Braintree. My aunt has been a resident here for seven years and I have visited her on a very regular basis.
The staff in all aspects of this business, more than a business, are extraordinary in their professionalism, help, care, knowledge and friendship to residents and their families. The praise and thanks I give to them is huge and cannot be enough for all they do for all the residents.
