This summer we were just a Spanish family visiting Ely, and had a problem the very first day with my daughter's glasses, she got one of her hinges broken. After trying in other two opticians who refused to fix the glasses, we arrived to Specsavers and they managed to replace the whole temple, and as it was a different model (obviously) they didn't charge a single cent. They saved our holidays and did it for free, they just wished us a nice stay... I have no words, Thanks Specsavers for saving our holidays, we had a really great stay thanks to you.

I wish I had read this before booking with them. As others have said they mislead you to take advantage of a welcome discount (2 pounds in my case). That small discount hides a subscription to a vouchers program with a cost of 50 pounds per year. Following their T&C you can cancel your subscription within the first five days but they only inform you about this hidden purchase on the sixth day when they charge your credit card, so you have no time to cancel the subscription without cost (create an account on their site, go to settings - add-ons then cancel your subscription)

After feeling scammed 25 pounds I obviously didn't trust them and cancelled the booking, then they charged another 50 pounds for cancellation, I should have cancelled my credit card before cancelling the booking.

I'll prosecute them for unfair selling, hope they soon get their website shut down, government should do something about this.
