Booked a cruise as mum not so mobile. Told sale staff at time we were not covid vaccinated, but she repeatedly reassured us she heard the need to be vaccinated was being dropped end of September in line with other holidays. Sales agent did say once, that if we couldn't go on the cruise, we could change to a land based holidays for £50 each. My partner said again he did not want a land based holiday and why. Agent again added reassurance that they were dropping vaccine requirement. After so many assurances we booked. Web site also said that if we couldn't go due to not being vaccinated, we could change or cancel for free. Went in to pay remaining balance but asked for clarity on vaccine requirement. Told we couldn't go on cruise. New sales agent exclaimed it would be at least a year before need for vaccine dropped. Original sales agent back tracked on her assurances, claiming she meant pre boarding testing was getting dropped. So no holiday, £500 taken, no refund offered!
