I needed a cooker installed and called out Lowestoft Bathroom Centre as noticed they did electrical work,they were very friendly and helpful and id recommend anyone who needed a electrician no matter how small you think the job is to call them,good price too! Very satisfied customer!!

I recently popped into AHF as needed to carpet my 1 bedroom flat and was looking at the carpet when I was approached by a older gentleman who I presumed was store management who asked if I needed help and told him ive just moved into area and needed something quality but cheap and he showed me a carpet which was on sale at 5.99 sq mtr so I then said to him,I unfortunately have to go for something cheap as due to moving here from 3 and a half hours away I lost my job,as soon as I said that he's attitude towards me changed as I asked him if he could come measure up my flat which before I mentioned I was unemployed said he would then he said id have to bring measurements in,so he judged me which was unfair and made me feel worthless,very poor customer service and little beknown to him ive recently found a similar job on a very high salary and wouldn't dream of spending any money in he's store now,so he's lost about 2 thousand pounds worth of business, very poor customer service indeed!!

I recently popped into Beckett's as I just moved into area and ordered a portion of chips ,the lady seemed quite friendly but asked if I wanted scraps with my chips and I asked curiously 'scraps' ? which she replied is all basically the leftover scraps of crispy bits at bottom of chips so I said ok as knew what she meant and to my shock after handing me the chips said that's one pound 85 so she charged me 25p for scraps that would have been binned anyway and I was too embaressed to argue about it so feeling a little bit conned left the shop,got home to eat my chips which were horrible and tasted like they were cooked in old lard,I dread to think how the fish tastes,avoid at all costs!!

Having just moved to Lowestoft from Essex,I needed carpet for my one bedroom flat for hallway and lounge,I needed something quality but cheap too as moving to a new area am out of work,I first called carpet right and a guy came out 4 days later to measure up,he told me I couldn't have underlay in my hallway as carpet grippers which were already in my flat only went hallway and quoted me a price of almost 400 pounds so I then went into A H F which was also on same North quay retail park and the guy I spoke to in there about a carpet wanted me to measure up myself then come all the way back with measurements,very poor customer service and wouldn't buy anything from there now,then one of my neighbours said he got a excellent service and cheap price carpet from Lowestoft Carpet and Rug Co.So I popped into the shop next day and said I needed carpet and the 2 guys were very helpful and friendly and said they'll measure my flat right away so I rushed home and 15 minutes later they were there,very prompt and showed me a selection of samples and I chose my carpet and he then gave me a price which included free fitting,underlay and even a brass bar for my bedroom carpet which a friend kindly gave me and I layed myself,the price was almost half of the quote from carpet right for a better quality carpet so of course said yes as soon as I get some money from my loan im waiting on I'll be in,2 weeks later which is today I got my loan went back to shop and the guy ordered and is laying my carpet tomorrow even though he had to order it in,im very very happy with the service I received :) 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend Lowestoft Carpet and Rug Co to anyone as the best in Lowestoft by far!!

I recently visited the Sauda village with my 3 year old son who wanted a portion of chips so ordered and preceded to sit down,Even though there was only 2 customers in the shop they took 30 mins to serve me one portion of chips knowing I had a hungry agitated toddler in tow,The manager seemed to be interested in chatting up young women then actually serving customers which I found quite disturbing,Avoid at all costs!
