I have informed them that I need to terminate my contract after 2 years due to business closure. They are telling me I need to pay for a further 3 years as I signed a 5 year agreement. This is despite the fact no further service is needed from them. It feels exploitative, and is the only company out of all of my suppliers that hasn't shown any flexibility or understanding. The service itself over the past 2 years has been ok. They are very phone-based, they don't like providing an email service and emails to them seem to get lost. They have been ok from an advice perspective, but have needed quite a lot of chasing if the query isn't straight forward, e.g. calculating annual leave for someone on a variable hours contract. I would not recommend them to anyone, due to my experience trying to terminate the contract.
