Pet Owners Beware

PET OWNERS BEWARE!!!
My mother-in-law took in a stray cat. She took the cat to VETS & PETS to be microchipped, prior to this she had informed by the Vet at VETS & PETS that the cat HAD BEEN neutered. At the appointment for microchipping we were informed that the cat was heavily pregnant and kittens were due imminently. To say we were shocked was an understatement. When I called the clinic to ask for the Vet’s full name, in order to raise our concerns I was spoken to rudely, aggressively and unprofessionally. In fact they REFUSED to give me the vet’s name. 9 days later no kittens had arrived. We took the cat to another vet who informed us that the cat was definitely NOT pregnant. Whilst at this vet we also had the microchip checked, to discover that Vets & Pets had not even registered an address to the microchip. Which meant that the cat was NOT registered to any address. The microchip company in fact wanted another £6 to register a first address.
