Escaped cat
2
We took our cat to Hills last Friday as she had been vomiting after eating and was seen by a young Spanish vet who forced a worming tablet down her throat using a large prong. Our cat was very traumatised but this action and on leaving the vet she escaped from her basket which had not been secured properly. We complained to Hills that they should have a protocol to ensure all cats in particular be secured before leaving the practice. On receipt our email they said that vets do normally check the clips and the doors of pet carriers once they place the pet inside. They understood that my husband did this and the vet assumed all was secure. Assuming is not good practice in my opinion and it should have been double checked. So not happy with this and our cat is still missing somewhere…..
