Four years ago I was new to Clapham. I needed to get my van MOTd. I did a bit of Googling and asking around, then tipped up here. It turned out to be a good call. Mark (the proprietor) proved, to put it mildly, thorough but fair. If you want to get some dodgy p-o-s signed off for another year, this isn't the place for you. If you want a rigorous check-up, with honest comments about the state of your vehicle, and without someone using it as a selling exercise, consider Ferndale.

Anyway, four years on, I've kept coming back at MOT time. No regrets. I'll be back again next year.

Not a huge job. Just a plug repair needed where I'd picked up a nail in my tyre. These guys were great though. They sorted it then and there, with no hassle and for a reasonable price. Pleasant people to deal with. A good local business which I will not hesitate to use again.

I'm very glad I found this couple. As soon as I'd called they went to collect the glass required and then were round to sort me out super-quick. Very efficient, a job well done and thoroughly nice people to deal with. Oh, and a good deal cheaper than going with one of the national companies / agencies. Highly recommended.

I booked my van in there at short notice yesterday. An evening slot was no problem. No need to take time off work, oh and 20% discount off the test fee for booking online.

I was a bit wary an MoT might be used as some sort of sales exercise. I needn't have worried. The chap who dealt with me was incredibly friendly and helpful. Not only was he happy for me to hang around whilst he did the test. he actively involved me in it, talking me through what he was doing, what he was looking for and what he was finding (all under the watchful eye of the garage cat).

My van sailed through, but he was actually very thorough. The only issue he found was a tiny rattle from one of the wheels. Turned out to be a small piece of plastic (size of my little finger nail) broken off and loose inside a wheel trim. Top marks for spotting that one.

In summary. Very pleasant to deal with, a very well run operation, helpful opening hours and a fair and thoroughly professional approach to the test. 10/10. Highly recommended.
