My experience was of the Clitheroe Branch. Appointment times were respected and the service was welcoming and helpful. All aspects of the service were carefully explained and questions happily answered in a friendly and professional manner. I was made to feel welcome and my opinions were respected. Simply excellent service.

Norman Cope provided many years of excellent service up until his retirement. At this point Bayfields took over the business and the treatment experienced could not be more different.

This Opticians used to provide an excellent service undre the name of Norman. Some years ago, on his retirement, Bayfields took it over. I assumed the high standard of service I had taken for grantred would continue. How wrong I was. The appointment I made and kept involved me sitting around for twenty minutes with no explanation or apology. At this point I left and sought a new optician. Three years on and I thought I would give them a second chance. Again I kept the mutually agreed apointment. Their contemptuous treatment of customers had not changed and again it was assumed that I would wait around at their behest. Good manners dictate that when a formal appointment is made and confirmed it should be kept. Of course things can happen to disrupt plans but this involves an appology at least and not the assumption that everyone else is there simply to wait at your convenience with no idea as to when they might deign to see them.
