In 2014 I used Abels to buy my shared ownership property and they were pretty good. Things were a bit delayed as expected but overall I would have recommended.
However coming round to sell my shared ownership flat I was going to use Abels again but decided not to because of poor customer service when requesting a quote.
The quote came to me after a few days of emailing, I then asked a few more questions but never had a reply, 3 emails later from me to them and 3 weeks later no reply still....
Phone call only to find out the person I was emailing didn't want to speak to me and bumped me off to someone else. Poor service before I was going to instruct them so I decided better and went with their competitor, thoroughly disappointed.
It doesn't take much to reply to an email especially when they admitted to receiving the email
