I have recently used Addingtons Electrical for 2 jobs.
Ziggy spent time talking through options. I had confidence in him from that meeting.
In my first job with them last week Addingtons Electrical moved my fuseboard from an inconvenient place in the kitchen to my utility room (extensive works).
They run a 10mm armoured cable from utility under ground to the garage. It is now has a dedicated fuse and is future proof for EV charging etc. The cable was well hidden.
A 6mm armoured cable was then run underground to where our hot tub will sit.
Turned up when they said they would, professional and reasonably priced.
I was so impressed that I booked them for another job in my office today. They installed 5 new downlights (joists and steel beam to get around), a Shelly Dimmer (smart light module), 3 new sockets and a spur to a new outdoor socket. They were spot on again and did an amazing job 👌

I would tread with caution.

A friend recommended the company after they did a good job at their house.

Recently another friend called and tried to get the company to quote. They never returned her call.

I managed to get hold of them and the owner seemed very nice and took time to talk the job through and offered addresses to go and view his work.

All great up until this point. We were trying to decide on the final finish.

We came to a final decision within a week and since that date he has not returned calls, email or texts. My wife even visited the office.

The company said they are always busy and sometimes won't return calls.

Even if he agreed to do the work noe I'm not sure we'd be able to get hold of him if anything went wrong. I have seen a negative review from another on this point on another public review site.

I thought maybe he had underquoted but my normal builder has offered to do the job and came in at the same price.
