Avoid due to very rude Practice Manager

My elderly father & I were removed from the Practice without any warning & so we emailed asking to please be re-registered. We explained that we unfortunately had not been able to book & attend appointments for some time as I had been very unwell with a very, very rare potentially terminal condition.
We received a phone call from the Practice Manager, Emma. We were shocked at Emma's hostility, very rude tone & unprofessionalism. Emma stated "I wouldn't have written your email like that; the Principle REALLY won't like your email. I'll tell you what you NEED to write to "help you". Your email is also slightly aggressive & there's also things in your email that aren't true". She then responded with "do you know what? I'm going to email you instead" then put the phone down.
We then received a short, 'standard' letter 'apparently' from the Principle Dentist saying they did not have the capacity to take on new patients; nothing in our email was addressed.

I used Derek for the first time to do welding on my car. I requested a quote via Checkatrade & Derek was able to attend the following day to do a quote. Derek then very kindly rescheduled another job he was doing to make sure he could fit me in within 10 days of my MOT so I wouldn't have to pay for a retest, which I am very grateful for.
When Derek came to do the work, he also brought his father with him. Both Derek & his father are very pleasant to deal with; they're both very polite, friendly & professional. Derek is also very knowledgeable, gave me advice & even did a couple of extra little jobs to try to minimise any future problems. Despite the job running over the time Derek predicted, he very kindly did not add much more onto the quote. I did get a couple of quotes for this work to be done & Derek was very competitively priced.
Derek is a very genuine & I'll happily use him again & will happily recommend him to friends etc.

Zero complaints - highly recommend!

A. Davies helped us move last year & again a week ago. Each time we have used them they have been prompt & very efficient.
On times we have needed to call them, all the staff have been very helpful, friendly & professional.
Our move last week was done by Andy, Gary, Lewis & Nathan; all of them were really pleasant to deal with & very hard working. They were all very friendly & light hearted which we appreciated as moving is very stressful! They were very helpful & thorough double checking where we needed things to go.
Overall we have no complaints & would very happily use them again & will highly recommend them to others too.

I want to say a huge thank you to the gentleman I saw this morning; apologies, I didn't get his name. I had a completely flat tyre & was a bit stressed as I'd already tried another garage who unfortunately couldn't help, so I was a bit anxious, hence I didn't think to get his name. I saw him at Auto Repairs and Recovery in the Riverside Industrial Estate, Littlehampton but I believe he also works at A Tyres in the same industrial estate. When I arrived I was told they were very short staffed & fully booked for the day, but even so, this member of staff changed my tyre over to my spare tyre. I am so extremely grateful he helped me & when I went to go & pay, he insisted that there was no charge. I did say a few times that I'd really like to give him something for his time but he said no. I will pass the good deed forward.

I had an eye test & fitting for new glasses yesterday. The lady who greeted me was very pleasant & polite. The Optician was a very lovely man called Vishal. He was very friendly, polite, helpful & informative & a pleasure to deal with. I then had my new glasses fitting with Kerry. My Dad & I have both seen Kerry over the years & each time we've dealt with her she's been really pleasant, helpful, friendly, polite & bubbly. She's a very lovely, warm person to deal with. Very happy with the customer service here & we will continue to be repeat customers

Recently used Vinnie for the first time; he's friendly, polite & professional. He explains things well in layman's terms, completes work very quickly & is reasonably priced. My 11 year old laptop is now running like it's brand new! He also went above & beyond to fix my laptop out of my working hours to ensure I had my laptop back as soon as possible for work. He's a lovely man to deal with & provides 5 star service. No complaints; thank you Vinnie!

If I could give this review 0 stars, I would. I have visited the salon around 3 times & each time the salon has been filthy. The décor is shoddy & not welcoming.
I was a model for a Brazilian blow dry which didn't work. I was left waiting for an hour before the treatment started. I was told it was a strict process; each section of hair had to be straightened 10 times. The lady doing it only did it 2-3 times so it seems clear why it didn't work. I've since found out that the girl doing the blow dry wasn't being paid to be there - no wonder she was in a rush. This may explain why the salon has such an high turnover. The day after the blow dry, my hair was frizzy again.
I had nails done; a flyer for the nail technician & her FB page does not state it would be extra for nail art. The nails were priced £25. I was surprised then to be charged £40 - after I had my nails done, so it put me in a very awkward position. I asked why the price was higher, which the lady stated is because I had nail art done. I know it takes more time, but it does not state this anywhere. I paid it but informed the owner of this as the info is inaccurate, she agreed I had been overcharged.
Within a week 2 nails snapped off. I raised this with the salon owner & had to request so many times to get an appointment sorted.
I noticed on Sparkle's facebook page, my personal photos had been uploaded to the page - without my permission. I questioned the owner as I couldn't believe my personal photos were being uploaded without my permission & trying to promote the blow dry - that didn't even work! She removed some of them but said 'I had upset her & she was in tears'. I am aware of her doing this before to myself & other people, trying to make people feel guilty over things. She then made a reference to my mum, who passed away 9 years ago. I was appalled, shocked & disgusted that she could be so vile & spiteful & bring my Mum into the conversation.
Fed up with her irrational behaviour, I contacted the nail technician as I was hoping that it might be more helpful to deal with her directly. I got a blunt message from the salon owner questioning why I was 'refusing to come to the salon' - I had said no such thing. It came to light that the nail technician relayed my message to salon owner word for word! I couldn't believe that a private message was forwarded on to the very person I was asking not to deal with. The technician could not see why this was wrong or inappropriate. I was informed that by both women they had been discussing me behind my back – how unprofessional is that? Neither of them had the intelligence to realise what they had done was wrong. I cannot believe how unprofessional, inappropriate & spiteful they are.
After this, I was far too appalled to use the salon again & requested a partial refund to fix the faulty nails, but the nail technician refused & called me a liar – a random statement, especially as I hadn’t lied! When I questioned this, she could not answer me, so yet another unprofessional comment.
I reluctantly messaged the owner who eventually arranged a partial refund for me. But I noticed more of my personal photos were on the page & again had to message the owner to remove them.
I am shocked at the poor way this salon treats customers they clearly have no idea what customer service is.
