Using Booking.com I reserved a “Superior Double Room’ at The Mountford, Liverpool. At £130 per night
We did not arrive at the hotel until 5:30pm. Upon arrival the car park was full (7 cars). As this hotel boasts 29 rooms. When I enquired with whom I assumed was Manager/Owner, his first words were ‘It’s first come, first served!’
Somewhat shocked, I enquired where I should park, he suggested ‘Behind that taxi’. Said taxi was on the opposite side of a main road, some 200 metres away. It would require me to park partly on pavement.
At reception we were notified our room was number 29, ‘You’re in the attic’ she gleefully told us.
The ‘attic’ is the sixth floor of this converted building. Not ideal for someone recovering from a partial knee replacement.
After finally getting our breathe back, we sat on the bed, only for it to move 4 feet! Bed + Wheels + Wooden Floor = Epic Fail.
We attempted to watch TV. This wasn’t going to be straight forward… no signal
£130 wasted. Not worth £50.

Very reliable company. High quality of work and considerably cheaper than Danbury Fencing and other local rivals. Strongly recommended.
