Ordered carpet two weeks ahead of delivery but on DAY of delivery was informed carpet too big for delivery van so have to cut it up, not sure why this was not checked beforehand it's not like I ordered the day before. Had to re-arrange my fitter and promised delivery will be by 12 next day. At 11.30am I called twice to Carpetright they said on their way to collect carpet at 11.48am and I'm the first drop off. Again had to rearrange fitter for late afternoon. They arrived at 2pm, delivered by 3rd party contractor who refused to it up to second floor in my flat saying it's too heavy, there were two of them! He complained to me saying he was a fitter and not a delivery man! He then stood there and argued with me saying I live on the 3rd floor not 2nd! He said he'll take it up for £30! my carpet was over £1k, delivered rolled up then folded in half with fat crease marks in the middle and no packaging or wrapping to protect Very disappointed with service. Wont be using carpetright again.
