Very happy with the fence that Kevin and his men from Cambridge Fencing put up in my back garden. Polite and efficient, working in the cold and the rain last week.

I had a read out that the pressure was low. They found a nail in one tyre, advised a patch job and It was all complete in around half an hour. Very good service. I would recommend them.

Excellent food, staff and organisation for our daughter's wedding at Wantisden Valley in May 2017. Jackie O'Hanlon did all the organising. We had a very useful tasting session at their kitchens in Ipswich. Good quality food, and very flexible on the menus. The meal was served promptly, hot, and the evening food was delicious too.

We had our hair done for my daughter's wedding in May 2017. The bride, two bridesmaids and mother of the bride. We had a practice session in April too. They did a great job for all of us and were sweet and kind.

We had my daughter's wedding here in May 2017. It was a fabulous event. The setting, with the ceremony in the Mixing Barn and the reception in the Main Barn, was absolutely perfect. We had drinks after the ceremony in the grassy courtyard, on a perfect sunny day. There was ample room for 170 people, and the recommended caterers, Hatfields, did an excellent job. We had the venue for the whole weekend, so we were able to have a rehearsal event on the Friday evening, the wedding and reception on the Saturday, and clear up the following day. There was good disabled access too.

We had a mixed experience. Some of the staff were very kind and attentive. Some of the rooms were good, others not so much. The breakfast was good, and the bar and patio area were nice. We were a bridal party, but the bridal suite did not get tidied up, even after I asked housekeeping on the wedding day. The hair salon Hairways onsite was ideal.

Gillian and her assistant helped me to find exactly the hat I wanted. They gave us good advice about veils, and my daughter tried on different lengths and fabrics. We had plenty of time in the chic dressing room, and tried on various hair slides, taking photos from different angles. These are experts at their game and it was good to support a local small business.

Desi did all the alterations on my daughter’s Suzanne Neville wedding dress. She also designed and created a beautiful lace shrug to go with dress. She interpreted all my daughter’s requirements exactly as she had wanted them, even recommending a supplier of eyelash lace. She set a timescale for the work on the dress so that it was completed at the right time, and stored the dress after completion until the big day. Her work is of designer standard because she is a former Jermyn Street tailor. She gave us advice on storing and transporting the dress to the event. She has a pleasant manner and was always patient, even though heavily pregnant through the work. A great experience.

Gillian at The Dress (26 High St, Teddington) helped my daughter to choose the perfect wedding dress. She went with a particular shape in mind, but after trying on a few dresses, chose a different shape which suited her perfectly. It was a Suzanne Neville designer dress, silk, very elegant with a long train, and exactly in our budget. Jo advised us on alterations, recommended a dressmaker to make a lace shrug, and stored the dress till the appropriate time. A wonderful experience.
