I recently visited this business on 14/05/26 for a simple bracelet adjustment on my Rolex watch and left extremely disappointed with the experience.
While my watch was being handled, I observed a staff member treating it in an unnecessarily rough and careless manner. As a result, multiple scratches were caused to the bracelet that were not present beforehand. For a luxury watch retailer/service provider, I expected a far higher standard of care and professionalism.
What made the situation even worse was the dismissive attitude shown when I raised my concerns. Despite bringing the damage to their attention, they have refused to assist or take responsibility for resolving the issue.
When customers entrust valuable property to a business, they should expect it to be handled with respect and proper care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Very disappointing experience at the Goldsmiths Bromley branch. I visited to have a datejust bracelet adjusted — a simple 2-minute job — but the staff refused to help. What made the experience even more frustrating was being told they are “not a Rolex authorised dealer,” which is surprising and confusing for a well-known luxury watch retailer.
The manager, Carrie, was unhelpful and showed no interest in assisting with such a straightforward request. When dealing with luxury watches and customers spending significant amounts of money, you expect professionalism, customer care, and at least a willingness to help — not to be dismissed.
Poor service, poor attitude, and a very disappointing reflection of the Goldsmiths brand. I won’t be returning to this branch.
